Welcome to our laboratory, we are interested in hematopoietic stem cells biology and acute forms of leukemia.
Our research consists in defining the mechanisms that determine how hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) integrate various signals to maintain or to launch a differentiation program and how this code is disrupted by oncogenes in leukemia.
Using a multidisciplinary approach which involve cellular studies of transgenic or knock-out mouse models, combined with functional proteomic and genomic approaches, as well as targeted molecular studies, we aims at defining the molecular mechanisms by which oncogenes disrupt molecular networks in hematopoietic cells, thus inducing a pre-leukemic state and progression to leukemia.
Our research will open the way for the development of leukemia treatments that are more targeted, better tolerated, and ultimately more effective.
